Enter the gateway to Vermont’s rural heritage and explore one of the finest Jersey farms in America, featuring interactive farm programs and activities and award-winning historical exhibits. Explore the barns and calf nursery and stop by for the afternoon milking. The restored farm house, engaging farm life exhibits, and visitor center featuring the Academy Award nominee film A Place in the Land, showcase this model farm, a Woodstock landmark since 1871. Hands-on activities are available each day, as well as a variety of seasonal events, museum shop, and dairy bar. We are handicapped accessible.
Open: May–October, daily, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and weekends November - February 10 a.m- 4 p.m. and December 26 - January 1 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Stay at a working dairy farm with 150 head of cattle and generous amounts of kittens! This farm vacation offers lodging with meals (both dinner and breakfast) served with Vermont charm at the family table. Guests can visit the barn, swim or fish in the river, hike or snowshoe in the woods. Trails start right at the front door. Our 150-year old house has seven guest bedrooms and four shared baths. Sitting areas throughout the house provide plenty of space to relax. This is a great place to schedule a family reunion or find new best friends.
