Well behaved pets are welcomed in any of our 77 cottages for an additional charge of $10 per day. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets and pet stations are placed strategically around the property. A weekly dog walk is scheduled with the host and her owner. Upon check-in, your canine receives a bag of treats, pickup bags and a list of the best things to do and not to do on property. We also have a great private dog beach and plenty of green areas for walking and running. Dogs must be kept leashed at all times and away from the pool and waterfront areas.

The Mountain Top Inn & Resort invites you to share your vacation with your canine companion. We invite you and your well behaved pet to enjoy the creature comforts of one of our five mountain cabins or a pet friendly vacation home. Your pet will receive a dog bed, bowls for food & water and a Vermont Gourmet Dog Treat as a welcome amenity. Pets are permitted on designated cross-country ski trails and hiking trails. Located in Central Vermont, just a short drive from Killington and Rutland, the Resort is majestically set on 350 acres surrounded by Vermont’s Green Mountains; with sweeping views of a sparkling lake and an endless array of outdoor adventures, it’s the perfect place for you and your pet to vacation!
