Christmas Eve at The 1786 Rupert Meetinghouse

Dec 24, 2025 - Dec 24, 2025 1786 Rupert Meetinghouse, 2803 VT-153, West Rupert, VT Rupert, VT 05768

Celebrate Christmas Eve with a traditional candlelight service at the historic 1786 Rupert Meetinghouse, the oldest continuously operating church meetinghouse in Vermont. Join friends, families, and neighbors for an evening of faith, fellowship, and timeless tradition.

All are welcome to sing beloved Christmas carols and experience “Silent Night” by candlelight, just as it has been celebrated for more than 200 years. A goodwill offering will be collected to help keep the meetinghouse open and support essential community programs, including a CSA-supported food shelf, free monthly lunches, parish nursing, and winter warming assistance for neighbors in need.

The Congregational Church of Rupert is an open and affirming community, welcoming all with open hearts and warm smiles. Learn more at RupertChurch.org or follow us on Facebook.
