Travel to Vermont cabins, cottages, lodges for an outdoor VT vacation

In the world of Vermont hotels and Vermont motels, cabins and cottages serve a useful purpose for all kinds of visitors: large or extended families, outdoor sports enthusiasts, reunions, weddings, gatherings of fraternal or business organizations, and other occasions where people want to spread out in home-like comfort surrounded by Vermont’s beautiful forests and lakes and rivers. Cabins and cottages and lodges frequently include a living-dining area, multiple bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, TV, and porches.

Cottages Pamper You With Private Beach, Docks, Resort Access

Banish memories of Grandma’s cottage of banging screen door and moldy Reader’s Digests. The Cottages of Lake Morey more resemble lakeside chalets, where guests can spread out among many bedrooms and common areas, lounge on a wraparound porch looking out on the lake, and motor or paddle off from a private dock. At 3,200 square feet, Wapanachee Cottage, with a large fireplace, accommodates 12 guests, and offers a one-bedroom efficiency apartment. The two 2,500-square-foot Denslow Cottages share a private beach and dock, and each has a private terrace with impeccable landscaping. Lakeside Cottage sleeps four, and, like the others, has a full kitchen. Cottage guests have full privileges at the adjacent Lake Morey Resort; July and August weekly rentals include one round of golf per person, per day.
