64th Annual Art in the Park Summer Festival

64th Annual Art in the Park Summer Festival August 9 & 10 (and Fall Foliage Festival on October 11 & 12). Juried fine artists, craftspeople, and specialty food producers will be featured. Rounding out the festival are food vendors, live music, Free kids’ activities, and demonstrations of works in progress held throughout the weekend. A voluntary donation is appreciated. Shows will be held rain (snow) or shine in Main Street Park at Junction of Routes 4 & 7 in Rutland, Vermont. Bennington Quiltfest

Presented by the Quiet Valley Quilters’ Guild; Our show features new quilts, featured quilter Maria Ferri Cousins on-site with free lectures both days, guild ‘miniature’ challenge quilts, a special exhibit of Semiquincentennial quilts, vendors, raffle quilt and baskets, and a consignment and gift boutique. The on-site Quiltfest Café serves breakfast and lunch each day. The café features homemade breakfast sandwiches, pastries, soups, quiche and gourmet sandwiches.
