We feature contemporary American cooking in a relaxed yet elegantly upscale atmosphere. As often as possible, we purchase our ingredients from local farms and producers. As their bounty changes seasonally, so does our menu. We offer an extensive wine list that has been recognized by Wine Spectator multiple years. Originally a carriage house for guests, the Phelps Barn Pub honors its past with hearty, thoughtfully prepared foods that use locally sourced ingredients, sometimes from the inn’s own garden. The hayloft has been renovated into an elevated seating area, and in the warmer months, diners enjoy the Vermont air in the Outdoor Courtyards. In the Main Inn, the inviting 1801 Tavern serves the same farm-to-table menu, which changes with the seasons. The tavern’s Pine Room Bar, with a welcoming fireplace, offers Vermont craft beers, quality wines and specialty cocktails.
