A barn, a courtyard, a charming farmhouse: Historic farm has one-of-a-kind wedding venues

You have decided you want someplace extraordinary for your wedding. How about an 18th-century farm and orchard? The Scott Farm, where parts of “The Cider House Rules” were filmed, has a few venues that your guests be talking about for years. The farm’s courtyard is nestled among lovely white barns, next to a pond, with orchard views. The Apple Barn event room, for up to 120 guests, has dozens of windows looking out over the 571-acre farm and the mountains beyond, and with twinkling ceiling lights and candlelit tables, is a spectacular spot for your ceremony or reception. For smaller weddings, there’s the charming 1837 Dutton Farmhouse. A caterer will help customize your meal, and a day-of coordinator is provided.
