At this farm inn, love of the land, and belief in sustainability, are shared with guests

At the Liberty Hill Farm & Inn, the top priority is to provide a fulfilling farm experience for every guest. And given the number of guests who return year after year, it’s a job well done. From fabulous home-cooked meals using fresh, local ingredients (sometimes picked by guests) to letting guests learn how to milk a cow, the farm promotes both healthy, sustainable living – and fun. The inn, a pioneer in the agritourism movement, supports the Keep Local Farms initiative and was Vermont’s first Green Agritourism Enterprise. The owners are members of the Cabot Creamery dairy co-op, where sustainability and innovation are key. Sharing the love of the land and farming is central to the inn, where guests can pick berries, hike through wildflower fields, swim, fish – and milk cows.
