Morse Welcomes Your Group to Authentic Farm Life

For an authentic immersion in Vermont country life there’s no better excursion than a visit to Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks in Montpelier. The benign overseer of this maple kingdom is Burr Morse, of the eighth generation of a family that first learned maple sugaring techniques from Native people. Your group – a bunch of friends or an organized bus tour – can enjoy tours of the sugarhouse, displays in the woodshed theater, an outdoor Vermont farm life museum and shopping at the country store. A nature trail is peopled by whimsical carved folk characters created by Burr Morse. Taste and buy maple products like maple creemees, other Vermont foods, crafts, and gifts. Purchases may be mailed. Tour groups are always welcome. Open year-round.
