Vermont agritourism & ecotourism means fun outdoors and on the farm

Vermont has a strong history of diverse farming -- with an emphasis on dairy farms -- along with great food traditions like cheese, chocolate, and ice cream as some of the delicious products of all that work. Visit a family farm on your Vermont vacation.

At this welcoming inn and family farm, they’re passionate about agricultural experiences, education

At the family-owned Liberty Hill Farm & Inn, they are passionate about providing a fulfilling farm experience for every single visitor. That’s why so many guests return year after year, becoming part of the family at this working dairy farm, where visitors have been learning about farm life and having fun doing it for almost 40 years. That might mean trying your hand at milking a cow, bottle-feeding a calf or just observing the milking process. It might mean picking berries or vegetables for that night’s meal (or that afternoon’s snack!). It always means bountiful home-cooked breakfasts and dinners and comfortable lodgings. Committed to sustainability as well as agricultural education, Liberty Hill was named Vermont’s first green agritourism enterprise in 2008.
