2026 Annual Naulakha Estate & Rhododendron Tour + Cocktail Party tickets available now At The Landmark Trust USA

Jun 5, 2026 - Jun 5, 2026 707 Kipling Road, Dummerston, VT 05301

Experience one of the year’s most anticipated traditions at the Naulakha Estate during the annual Rhododendron Tour, happening June 5–7.

On Friday, June 5 from 6:00 PM, enjoy an exclusive Cocktail Party featuring intimate access to the estate, along with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, wine, beer, Scott Farm hard cider, and live music.

The main daytime tour takes place Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 10:00 AM–4:30 PM. Guests will have rare access to the home and grounds of Rudyard Kipling, normally open only to overnight guests. Explore the main house, Carriage House, the newly restored Naulakha Stable and its exhibit on Kipling’s life in Vermont, and the breathtaking grounds—including the famous football-field-length Rhododendron Tunnel, expected to be in full bloom.

This year’s event is especially meaningful, having been recognized as a Signature Event by the Vermont Department of Tourism. It also marks the first time visitors can fully explore the rehabilitated loft space inside the newly restored stable.

Tickets often sell out early, and this is the only time each year that the estate is open to the public in this way. Proceeds from every ticket support the preservation of this treasured landmark and ongoing efforts to create a climate-resilient future for the property.

Camp for FREE Weekends - See Thousands of Daffodils!

May 8, 2026 - May 10, 2026 1098 Wild Hill Road Fairlee, VT 05045

Spend an hour, a day, or the entire weekend to help us get ready for our next Summer of camping. Your time and energy help grow and maintain the vision and legacy of Brian J. Stephens, who started this rescue effort! Camp with us, enjoy the campfire at night with old and new friends, and hang out with the farm animal rescues. We have a number of projects that we need help with in addition to the annual spring clean-up around the grounds. We will be building two new campsites (camping is a big income generator for the rescue). Plus there is painting of the greenhouse and the tent decks that volunteers built last year. There are donkey hooves to trim, wood debris to be gathered, poop to shovel, and more! No experience is necessary. Pack your tent & sleeping bag so you can spend the weekend and commune with the critters! Boots and gloves are recommended (it can be muddy and poopy). Plus, the 8,000 daffodils (all planted by volunteers just like you!) should be in bloom this weekend!
