Vermont Ski Areas
Up and down the length of the Green Mountains are downhill ski areas to challenge and satisfy skiers of every ability. Smaller family-oriented areas are great places to learn the sport and enjoy smaller crowds and many quick runs during a day of skiing. Full service mountain resorts abound. Among them are renowned names such as Stowe, Killington, Mad River Glen and Mount Snow. Impressive snow coverage, long runs, ever-improving lifts and full services are the hallmarks of these ski resorts. In Vermont the combination of great skiing and picturesque Vermont villages is the quintessential New England winter experience.
