Basin Harbor Club is a full service resort with scores of activities for couples and families. Think of each of our 77 cottages as your own private summer place. The cottages, each with a distinctive floor plan, are nestled throughout the grounds with views of Lake Champlain, gorgeous gardens, or the golf course. All are within walking distance of dining, recreational and sports activities. Accommodations in the charming cottages range from one to three bedrooms with private bath(s), and many also have a living room for lounging. All boast a comfy summer home decor with varied features like decks or porches, custom millwork, and artisanal screen doors. A third of the cottages have fireplaces made with native stone.

Located on a scenic back road, you can enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. The property offers stunning vistas of Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, and Smugglers Notch. One and two bedroom log cabins have country furnishings with modern amenities. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living-dining area with a fireplace, a color TV, a sleep sofa, covered porch and an outdoor grill. The property also offers a 3 or 4 bedroom suite, each with about 1,200 square feet of living space. Both suites have the same amenities: 3 full bathrooms, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a spacious living/dining area, a gas stove, color TV with satellite, and a private covered front porch. All linens are included.

The Barrows House hosts overnight guests and local epicures in its Main Inn, complete with a sumptuous living room, tavern, and two dining rooms. The inn also offers accommodations in three detached cottages -- the Bird House, the Carriage House, and the Field House. The Bird House, a petite charmer with a whirlpool tub and gas fireplace, may have served as the harness shop for the Barrow family’s livery business. The Carriage House, possibly a former repair shop for a nearby forge, is dog-friendly and has two bathrooms, kitchen appliances, a sitting room, and six bunk beds. The Field House reflects the recreational activities of guests and is Pet Friendly. The lower portion serves the nearby pool; the second floor is a guest suite.
